New Luke Cage Trailer Shows Why You Don't Bring a Gun to a Superhero Fight

The latest teaser for Marvel's Luke Cage shows off some of the pros and cons of being a superhero.

In the video, Luke (Mike Colter) single-handedly takes on a gang of bad guys with ease, thanks to his unbreakable skin. However, when the criminals resort to shooting at Luke, his hoodie and jacket are destroyed by the bullet holes. "I'm about sick of always having to buy new clothes," Luke laments.

The Netflix series, which premieres Friday, Sept. 30, follows Luke's life when he moves to Harlem after the events of Jessica Jones. In addition to Colter, the cast includes Mahershala Ali as Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes, Afre Woodard as Mariah Dillard, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Theo Rossi as Shades, Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.
