Guitar Center Sessions knows how to throw a party. To celebrate the music retailer's 50th anniversary, the DirecTV Audience Network series—now in its ninth season—enlisted the help of hit rock band Linkin Park for a blistering set filmed at famed Los Angeles venue The Wiltern. Shot in stunning 4K resolution, the performance features a number of hits from the band's back catalogue, plus a revealing interview conducted by radio personality Nic Harcourt.
"For nearly 100 episodes Guitar Center Sessions and DirecTV have featured intimate performances and inspirational stories from some of the world's most fascinating artists including Peter Gabriel, Alanis Morissette, Soundgarden, Snoop Dogg and now Linkin Park," says Dustin Hinz, executive producer of Guitar Center Sessions and Vice President of Brand Experience and Entertainment Marketing, Guitar Center. "To bring a live concert experience as intimate as Linkin Park at The Wiltern for 2,000 fans and to hear Mike and Chester illustrate their journey from high school music fans to one of the largest and most successful artists in rock is an unparalleled approach to music television."
