Lindsey Vonn on Dating Tiger Woods: "We Immediately Clicked"

Months after Lindsey Vonn and golfer Tiger Woods went public with their relationship, the skier is now opening up about what brought them together

"We immediately clicked, you know?" Vonn says in the August issue of Vogue. "It was just one of those things."

Initially, Vonn says they had a long-distance friendship, but that eventually evolved. "It's amazing," she says. "Life changes very quickly, in a positive way, if you let it."

In March, the two athletes confirmed the much-speculated-about romance. Vonn divorced her husband of four years, Thomas, in November 2011. Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren, divorced in 2010 after a sex scandal the previous year revealed that Woods had cheated on her with dozens of women. Woods subsequently left the PGA tour to enter rehab.

"Tiger's fame is obviously in the extreme, the amount of scrutiny that he's constantly under," Vonn says. "But that's the thing: It all comes back to being happy. It doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. Do what you love to do and be happy and that's it."
