Sadly, it seems Limitless won't be returning for another season as its creator announced Wednesday that all hopes of finding it a new home have been dashed.
I'm truly sad to report that #Limitless will not continue on any platform. Thanks so much to everyone who watched.— Craig Sweeny (@CraigSweeny) May 25, 2016
In his tweet, creator and showrunner Craig Sweeny made it clear that Limitless had in fact found a limit when no new network or platform stepped in to pick it up, ruling out a last minute save from Netflix, Amazon or Hulu.
Just last week, Limitless' future was all but certainly nil at CBS when the network's President Glenn Geller said, "Right now we're in discussions with other potential buyers, so I'd rather not comment on that at the moment."
Now it's apparently done for all of television, which is a shame considering the many reasons we thought it should come back — not least for a glimpse at Bradley Cooper.
