It's time to shine bright, shine far! Life Size 2 has officially started filming!
Tyra Banks announced Monday that filming for the sequel to her 2000 film with Lindsay Lohan, Life Size, has officially begun. "Now filming: LIFE SIZE 2," Banks wrote. "It's time y'all! You've waited long enough. Could not find one single woman more perfect to co-star with Eve than the magnificently fierce @franciaraisa. See you on @FreeformTV this holiday season! #LifeSize2 #ShineBrightShineFar."
Life Size told the story of Eve, a doll who magically comes to life and has to learn what it's like living in the real world. Together, she and her tomboy "owner," Casey (Lindsay Lohan), learn life lessons about what it means to grow up and be a woman.
As Banks mentioned, Francia Raisa, whose previous credits include Rosewood, grown-ish and Dear White People, has been tapped to star opposite Banks. Raisa will play Grace Manning, the confident and funny CEO of Marathon Toys, the manufacturer of the infamous Eve doll. Unfortunately, Grace is also a bit of a hot mess experiencing a quarter-life crisis and realizing she might just be in over her head as CEO. To make matters worse, her wild-child ways are causing the company's stock to plummet. Who better to set her on a path to success than Eve?
Tyra Banks might not be the only familiar face returning for the sequel though!
Last year, Banks told TV Guide that she'd been in talks with Lindsay Lohan to work out how she could appear in the sequel, saying, "I have been having a little DM message conversation with Lindsay Lohan because I really want her to come back, and I really want her to have some type of significant involvement in the movie."
No premiere date has been set yet, but Life Size 2 will air during Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas annual programming event.
