Levi Johnston will try to bounce back from his recent breakup to Bristol Palin by running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, Varietyreports.
But seriously, it's all in the name of reality TV. Palin's former fiancé and Playgirl model is planning to star in Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office, a series project that will chronicle his campaign and life raising Tripp, his son with Palin. Sarah Palin held the office before becoming governor of Alaska.

The project is being shopped to networks by Stone and Co., the production outfit which first pitched the idea of running for office to Johnston. He claims he wasn't initially keen on it, "but the more I think about it and look into it, I think there's a possibility we can make it happen," Johnston told Variety
. "It's something that I want to do."Johnston said he hopes starring in his own reality show will clear up any misconceptions the public may have about him.

"It's hard to figure me out," he said. "You've got to follow me around. I'm very different. I lead a crazy life. But it will basically be both worlds, my life in Hollywood and back home, the real country boy that I am."
