Leighton Meester Says Sex Tape "Not Real"

Leighton Meester wants to end the gossip about a sex tape.

"[The tape] is not real, so it makes me sort of sad. It's unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did," the Gossip Girl star told Harper's Bazaar. "People think it's real because somebody says it is."

TMZ.com claimed in June that a company was shopping a scandalous, X-rated video from a few years back that featured Meester and an unidentified partner.

Between the reports of her parents criminal past and now the sex tape, the 23-year-old explained how she quickly learned about the drawbacks of her newfound fame saying  she doesn't "want most of what comes along with all of this."

Meester also made it clear that she's nothing like her bad-girl character Blair Waldorf.

"I've never been crazy. I'm a very good girl, to be honest," she says. "I don't do anything to hurt anybody. Honestly, all I ever do is work."
