At long last, we know when Season 2 of FX's Legion will arrive. Mark your calendars, TV Guide has learned that the new season will premiere Tuesday, April 3 at 10/9c.

Based on the Marvel comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, the story follows a telepathic mutant named David Haller (Dan Stevens) who spent most of his life shifting from one psychiatric facility to another. After meeting and falling in love with Syd (Rachel Keller), he learns that not only were some of his visions real, he'd been haunted by a malicious parasite known as the Shadow King since childhood.

Season 1 ended with David trapped in a mysterious orb and the Shadow King on the run in Oliver's (Jemaine Clement) body. Their mysterious disappearances will force Melanie Bird (Jean Smart) and the rest of the team to form an unlikely alliance with Clark (Hamish Linklater) and his powerful government agency Division III in order to find them and hopefully end the Shadow King's quest for absolute power.
