Now that the series has been renewed for Season 4 and Macallan has been bumped up to series regular, she's sticking around for good, leaving plenty of opportunities for these friendly exes to rekindle things romantically. However, considering that they're part of a time-traveling team that fixes anomalies throughout time and space, getting back together won't be an easy feat, and it looks like things will only get more difficult for them.
"They're obviously two very complicated women and their functions on the show only become more complicated next season," executive producer Phil Klemmer told TV Guide. "It's like two CEOs being married to each other. It's not a simple life for the two of them," he added.
In the meantime, they'll have to figure out how to take out Mallus who has been released from Nora's (Courtney Ford) body. The season finale, which airs Monday, April 9, finds the Legends on the search for a way to stop the high-level demon in order to save the universe. Their quest sends them to the Wild Wild West where they'll run into an old friend: Jonah Hex. According to Klemmer, he won't be the only familiar face returning for the finale.
"He's the tip of the iceberg, said Klemmer. "We'll see the villains of the past but we'll also see the allies that were accumulated by [the Legends'] various time mishaps."
DC's Legends of Tomorrow's Season 3 finale airs Monday, April 9 at 8/7c on the CW.
