She's still meddling with magic, though!
Leah Pipes is headed back to The CW for a witchin' good time, but probably not on the series you'd hoped.
Entertainment Weeklyshared the news today that Pipes will recur on this season ofCharmedas Fiona Callahan, Harry's (Rupert Evans) former charge and Elder Charity's (Virginia Williams) younger sister. Sorry, Legaciesfans! Though it would have been cool to see Cami O'Connell drop into the Salvatore School as a ghost (or a necromanced spirit more likely), we'll have to keep waiting on that one.
Fiona is described as "a witch with a mysterious past and an even more cryptic power," and she's apparently returned to Hilltowne after spending years trapped in Tartarus, a hellish prison for supernatural creatures. Though that seems to spell that she'll be a baddie, it is worth noting that the circumstances surrounding of her imprisonment were apparently suspicious, so maybe she's the wronged party here? Still, time in Tartarus can change anyone, so keep your eye on her!
This is Pipes' first TV role since she left The Originalsback in 2016, though she did swing back in to visit New Orleans for the show's series finale last summer.
The Originals Series Retrospective: the Cast Reflects on Five Years of the Mikaelsons
Also joining the cast is Pretty Little Liars alum Tyler Blackburn! Not to worry though, Roswell, New Mexicofans. He'll only be appearing in one episode as a guest star, so you won't lose him from your favorite alien CW series. He'll be playing Viralis, a soul-sucking demon with the power to see into the depths of the human soul. He lures humans to their doom with promises of giving them their greatest desires -- so is he like a temptation demon, because yes, we are totally on board with that!
Charmed airs Sundays at 9/8c on The CW.
