Lea Michele Returns to Glee Following Cory Monteith's Death

Lea Michele returned to work Friday, nearly three weeks after the death of her boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith.

"First day of Glee today," Michele tweeted. "And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much."

Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver, Canada hotel last month at the age of 31. He died from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol. Production on Season 5 of the Fox comedy was pushed back and the premiere date was subsequently moved back one week to Thursday, Sept. 26. The first two episodes, which were written prior to Monteith's death, will air as planned followed by the third episode, which will deal with the death of his character, Finn.

Lea Michele: Cory Monteith "will forever be in my heart"

"Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support," Michele tweeted two weeks after the tragedy. "Cory will forever be in my heart."
