It might not be Stars Hollow, and it might not be a Parenthood reunion, but Lauren Graham is coming back to television, and we couldn't be more excited. The veteran TV mom is joining NBC's new midseason series Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist as Zoey's (Jane Levy) boss, TV Guide has learned.

Graham is taking over the role of Jane from Carmen Cusack, who appeared in the pilot for the series. The character is expected to stick around for a season-long arc, but who knows, it could end up being longer! The show follows Zoey, who NBC describes as "a whip-smart computer coder forging her way in San Francisco. After an unusual event she starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs. At first, she questions her own sanity but soon realizes this unwanted curse may just be an incredibly wonderful gift." Sounds like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, but only Zoey might be singing.

The cast also includes Skylar Astin, Peter Gallagher, Alex Newell, John Clarence Stewart, and Mary Steenburgen. No premiere date has been set other than "midseason."
