What's Lauren Graham's Next Project After Parenthood Ends?

Heeeeeeere's Lorelai Gilmore! Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls) is sticking with NBC once her run on Parenthood ends early next year.

The actress is currently developing a new single-camera sitcom with NBC that would put Graham in the chair of a late-night talk-show host, Deadline reports. Titled Kate on Later, the topical show follows Graham's character Kate as she attempts to break into the nighttime talk-show all-boys club.

Graham will get help with one of her very good friends. Ellen DeGeneres, who happens to be a daytime talk-show host, is on board to executive-produce.

Currently, Graham portrays Sarah Braverman on Parenthood. The family drama will wind down its six-season run early next year.
