Laura Prepon May Be Returning to Orange Is the New Black for More Episodes

Laura Prepon may be returning for more Orange Is the New Blackepisodes, Buzzfeed.com reports.

Prepon, who was slated to appear in just one episode of the second season, will now appear in at least four episodes. Additionally, Buzzfeed reports that while Prepon was originally coming back to wrap up her character's arc, Alex's story will now be more open-ended. Prepon is also currently negotiating her status for Season 3 of the hit Netflix series, although the series has not yet been picked up for a third season.

Why Orange Is the New Black needs Alex

At a recent event for the series, creator Jenji Kohan wouldn't confirmreports that Prepon would only be back for one episode, only saying, "You will definitely see her."

Prepon plays Alex, whose troubled history with privileged ex-lover Piper (Taylor Schilling) eventually landed Piper behind bars. Prepon is also known for playing Donna on That '70s Show and for her work on the short-lived TV series October Road and Are You There, Chelsea?
