The Late Show Will Air Live After the Presidential and VP Debates

Will "Stephen Colbert" offer commentary?

The Late Show with Stephen Colbertwill broadcast live episodes following two of the upcoming presidential debates, as well as the vice presidential debate, CBS announced Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer tour.

The post-presidential debate Late Shows will air on Monday, Sept. 26 and Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 11:35 p.m. ET, and tape-delayed on the West Coast. (The second presidential debate will take place on Sunday, Oct. 9.) The vice presidential debate will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

This won't be the first time The Late Show is going live this election cycle. Host Stephen Colbert also did live broadcasts during the Republican and Democratic National Convention.

We're guessing it's a safe bet "Stephen Colbert" will be making an appearance.
