Hours before the first segment of Lance Armstrong's two-part interview with Oprah Winfrey is scheduled to air (Thursday at 9/8c, OWN), the disgraced cyclist has been stripped of the bronze medal he won at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, CNN reports.

During Winfrey's prime-time interview with Armstrong, the athlete reportedly admits to using performance-enhancing drugs, a claim Armstrong denied for years. Earlier this week, Winfrey said Armstrong " did not come clean in the manner I expected" during their sit-down.

Last October, Armstrong was also stripped of his seven Tour de France titles by the International Cycling Union.
