The Kardashian and Odom Families Speak Out as Lamar Odom Remains in Critical Condition

Lamar Odom's children have released a statement thanking fans for prayers for their father, who remains in critical condition after being found unconscious on Tuesday.

"Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends," Destiny, 17, and Lamar Odom Jr., 13, said in a statement to CNN. "We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."

The NBA star's two children arrived in Las Vegas on Wednesday with their mother Liza Morales, who was with Odom for 10 years before separating in 2008.

Odom's estranged wife Khloe Kardashian also remains by Odom's bedside. On Thursday, the Kardashian-Jenner families released a statement on their websites saying, "As a family, we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."

Many of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have also released statements on their social media, including a message from Rob Kardashian.

Odom was found unconscious with blood coming out of his nose and mouth at a Nevada brothel on Tuesday. Authorities confirmed that Odom had used cocaine and "up to 10 tabs of sexual performance enhancements over a three-day period" before his hospitalization. He has been on life support since.
