Silicon Valley's Kumail Nanjiani Is the Latest to Join Jordan Peele's Twilight Zone

Kumail Nanjiani is crossing over to The Twilight Zone. The Silicon Valley actor has joined the cast of the rebooted Twilight Zone from CBS All Access and will star in an episode written by Alex Rubens (Key & Peele).

Nanjiani joins the previously announced Sanaa Lathan and Adam Scott in the anthology cast. He is best known for playing Dinesh in HBO's Silicon Valley. The actor and his wife Emily Gordon were nominated for a Best Original Screenplay Oscar last year for their film The Big Sick, whichwasabout the traumatic beginning of their relationship.

The Twilight Zone will be hosted and narrated by Jordan Peele, who is also an executive producer of the reboot. The Twilight Zone is one of several projects that Peele has in the works after his blockbuster success with Get Out. He's also executive-producing Lovecraft Country for HBO, which explores the connection between H.P. Lovecraft's horror stories and racism of 1950s America. Peele also just wrapped production on his next feature film, Us, starring The Handmaid Tale's Elisabeth Moss.

The Twilight Zone is currently filming and is expected to premiere on CBS All Access next year.
