The b---- is back, and she's ready to kick some butt.
Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23 alum Krysten Ritter has been cast as the titular character in Marvel's upcoming TV series Jessica Jones, Deadline reports.
12 stars you didn't know were on Vampire Diaries
The series, one of four Marvel shows that will air on Netflix, follows Jessica Jones, a superhero suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder who subsequently retires her costume and opens her own detective agency. Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is behind the series.
Marvel would not confirm Ritter's casting.
In addition to Don't Trust the B----, Ritter is also known for her roles on Breaking Badand Gilmore Girls. She was supposed to star in NBC's space comedy Mission Control this season, but the network pulled the plug in October before the series even premiered. She recently guest-starred on The Blacklist and will next appear in Tim Burton's Big Eyes.
Do you think Ritter is a good choice for the role?
