Why Did Kristen Stewart Skip the 2013 Teen Choice Awards?

Kristen Stewart was a big winner at Sunday's Teen Choice Awards, but someone is going to have to FedEx her surfboards to her.

Stewart, who won Choice Movie Actress and Choice Movie in the Romance category both for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2, was not in attendance. Although many worried the star skipped out because of a broken heart over her reported split from Robert Pattison last year, it was actually due to her busy work schedule.

E! News reports that Stewart, 23, was on the set of her upcoming film Camp X-Ray on Sunday. Camp X-Ray, in which Stewart plays a soldier stationed at Guantanamo Bay, reportedly is filming at Nelles Correctional Facility in Whittier, Calif.

Last year, Stewart attended the Teen Choice Awards along with her co-star and then-beau Pattinson just days before it was revealed that Stewart had cheated on Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Pattinson also skipped Sunday's ceremony.
