Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Marry at County Clerk's Office

After a four-year engagement, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are finally married.

TMZ reports that the couple had a simple ceremony at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office, where they had gone to pick up a marriage license. But when a court employee offered to marry them immediately, the Veronica Mars star and Parenthood actor didn't see the point in waiting and agreed. A photographer was on hand to capture the memories, which included Bell shedding a few tears.

Bell and Shepard have been together since 2007 and got engaged two years later, but the couple refused to get married until same-sex marriage bans were overturned across the nation. When the Defense of Marriage Act was overturned in June, they were overjoyed and Bell re-proposed to her fiancé over Twitter. They welcomed their first child, daughter Lincoln, in March.
