It's like Fight Club ... but for chefs.
On Esquire Network's new culinary battle series Knife Fight, which premieres with two back-to-back episodes Tuesday at 9/8c, chefs put their reputations -- and egos -- on the line when faced with a talented opponent and uniquely challenging ingredient. "It's real chefs cooking in a real kitchen in front of real people," Top Chef Season 2 champ and Knife Fight host Ilan Hall says. "What started as one chef talking smack to another has grown organically into a full-on competition."
New Esquire Network to replace Style instead of G4
For Tuesday's battle, the chefs are tasked with using an ingredient that's popular in the South: catfish. "I hate catfish," one competitor says. "I don't eat catfish. I give it to the dog."
The twist? The chefs not only have to use the fish in an innovative and appetizing new way ... but they'll also have to dispatch the live critter first!  Check out the exclusive clip below for a sneak peek of the underground cooking intensity [Warning: Contains violence against seafood. Not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.]:

Knife Fight airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Esquire.
