American Idol alum Kimberly Caldwell married her longtime boyfriend, soccer player Jordan Harvey, on New Year's Eve, People reports.

Caldwell, who came in seventh place on Season 2 of American Idol, posted a photo on Instagram as she was getting ready for the ceremony, with the caption: "Today's the big day!!!" She also posted a photo of herself and Harvey at their rehearsal dinner days prior.
Caldwell, 32, and Harvey, 30, were married at the Bougainvillea Estates in Palm Springs, Calif. They released Chinese lanterns at midnight to ring in the new year, according to People.
