Netflix Announces Premiere Date for The Killing Season 4

The Killing's fourth and final (no, really this time) season will premiere on Netflix on August 1.

"Linden and Holder are back. #TheKillingLives," the show announced via its Twitter page Thursday.

After being canceled (twice) by AMC, The Killing was resurrected by Netflix for a six-episode fourth season. Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman will return as Detectives Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder. Joan Allen will join the cast as the head of an all-boys military academy that's at the center of the new season's murder mystery.
