There's been both love and hate aimed towards Caitlyn Jenner since she revealed her new self on the cover of Vanity Fair, but this video featuring a group of kids reacting to the news truly shows a new generation of acceptance.
The educational group SheKnows Media's Hatch program showed a group of 9 to 11-year-olds photos of Jenner as an Olympian in the 1970s and then another of her from Vanity Fair, asking them to describe how she looks in each. Some of the words included "strong" for the first and "happy" and "confident" for the second. The interviewer then explained that photos were of the same person, and while the children were initially surprised, what came next was pretty incredible. "Who she wants to be is who she should be," one said.
When showed some of the hateful comments people have made towards Caitlyn, the kidscontinued to lend their support. "I think they're just scared of change... they don't know how to handle it," one said. "Maybe they don't understand what it feels like to just be who you want to be," said another.
