Khloe Kardashian Files for Divorce from Lamar Odom

Khloe Kardashian has filed for divorce from Lamar Odom after four years of marriage, TMZ.com reports.

Kardashian, 29, cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split, according to court documents filed Friday and obtained by the website. The former couple has a prenuptial agreement, so their assets will be divided easily. Additionally, Kardashian asked for the hyphenate Odom to be legally removed from her name.

The news comes following months of reported marital trouble between the duo. Weeks before his August DUI arrest, there were reports that Odom, 34, had cheated on his wife and was abusing drugs. Odom then took to Twitter to defend his wife and in-laws after his estranged father gave a scathing interview about them. In late September, Kardashian dropped Odom from her last name on social media. She was spotted at a media event earlier this week without her wedding ring.

Odom was recently sentenced to three years of probation after he reached a plea agreement in his August DUI case. The currently unsigned NBA player, whose marital troubles with Kardashian will be showcased on the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, recently trained with members of the Los Angeles Clippers.

In addition to frequent appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the couple starred in their spin-off series, Khloe & Lamar, which ran for two seasons on E!.
