Kelsey Grammer, Kayte Walsh Welcome a Baby Boy

New Twitter user Kelsey Grammer has something else to tweet about other than correcting others' grammar. The Emmy winner and Frasier star has welcomed a new baby into the world, ET Online reports.

Grammer's wife Kayte Walsh gave birth to a baby boy, Kelsey Gabriel Elias Grammer, on Tuesday in Los Angeles. The tiny guy weighed in at a reported 8 lbs, 2 oz.

"Our son will be called Gabriel as there is a tradition in our family of going by our middle names, the 59-year-old Grammer, whose first name is Allen, told ET. "We are blessed and excited to have this lovely young man join our family, he is magnificent."

It's unlikely that Grammer will have to go shopping for baby clothes and a new crib as little Kelsey is Grammer's sixth child. He and Kayte have a two-year-old daughter together, and Grammer has four other children, including 30-year-oldGreek actress Spencer Grammer, from previous relationships.    

Kelsey has a good excuse to get out of diaper-changing duties as he's busy prepping his new FX comedy Partners. The series, which co-stars Martin Lawrence, debuts August 4.
