Kelly Clarkson Gives Birth to a Baby Boy
Remington Alexander Blackstock was born April 12
When Kelly Clarkson appeared on American Idol in February, she taped a medley of songs to air during last Thursday's series finale, since the live show was so close to her due date. It turns out that she was correct in predicting she would be giving birth very close to the finale, as she welcomed a baby boy, Remington Alexander Blackstock, on Tuesday, April 12.
The original American Idol announced Remington's birth with a tweet Thursday morning.
Our little baby boy has arrived!! Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love!
Remington is Clarkson's second child with husband Brandon Blackstock. Their daughter, Ruby River Blackstock, was born in 2014. She is stepmother to Blackstock's two children from a previous marriage.
