Katy Perry leads the MTV Video Awards nominations this year with nine, including Video of the Year and Best Female Video. Perry will go head to head with Adele, who's up for seven awards, in both categories. Perry's video for "Firework" and Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," will compete against Tyler the Creator's "Yonkers," Bruno Mars' "Grenade," and Beastie Boys' "Make Some Noise" for the big award of the night.
