On Tuesday, Taylor Swift took umbrage when Nicki Minaj posted what appeared to be a criticism of "Bad Blood" earning a VMA Video of the Year nomination, while "Anaconda" did not. "It's unlike you to pit women against each other," Swift tweeted back, which was just too much for another pop star to resist commenting upon.
Wednesday, Katy Perry chimed in with her own message, with a thinly veiled reference to how "Bad Blood" is widely believed to be Swift's song about her long-running feud with Perry:
Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman...
Meanwhile, Perry offered praise to Rihanna, whose "Bitch Better Have My Money" was also noticeably absent from the VMA nominations.
The real travesty is where is the shine for #BBHMMVideo when VMA eligibility period was 7/7/14-7/1/15 & that gem dropped 7/1... @MTV
But bad blood or not, shouldn't we ladies just stick together? After all, you've seen Miss Piggy sing "BBHMM," right?
