The Haunting of Bly Manor is shaping up to be a full-fledged Crain family reunion.
Kate Siegel, who played Theo Crain in Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House, has been cast in the second season of Mike Flanagan's anthology horror series, The Wrap reports. Siegel's role in Season 2 of The Haunting has yet to be announced.
The new season, The Haunting of Bly Manor, was inspired by Henry James' classic novella The Turn of the Screw. Flanagan has teased, "For Henry James fans, it's going to be pretty wild, and for people who aren't familiar with his work, it's going to be unbelievably scary."
Siegel will be joined in Bly Manor by fellow Hill House stars Victoria Pedretti, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Henry Thomas. Pedretti, who played Nell Crain in the first season, is set to star as a governess, Dani, who is charged with caring for two "very unusual children." Jackson-Cohen, who played Nell's twin, Luke, is on board as Peter, "a charming fellow" who lives in the estate and makes "life very difficult" for everyone else. Thomas' role in Bly Manor is also being kept under wraps; in Season 1, he played Crain family patriarch Hugh.
The Haunting of Bly Manor is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2020. The Haunting of Hill House is available to stream now.
