"There are unexplained circumstances," Labour MP Keith Vaz said. "The family want to know everything. All the facts, fully and clearly. The hospital needs to be more proactive, a full inquiry is needed and the family need to be included in that."

Last week, two Australian DJs pretended to be Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, asking for information about Middleton, who was hospitalized with severe morning sickness at the time. Saldanha answered the call at the reception desk and patched it through to Middleton's room, where a nurse provided detailed information about Middleton's well-being, thinking she was speaking to members of the Royal Family. The interview was broadcast on the radio show and picked up worldwide. Saldanha was later found unconscious near the hospital and pronounced dead by police.

"I am devastated with the tragic loss of my beloved wife Jacintha in tragic circumstances," Saldanha's husband said on his Facebook page. "She will be laid to rest in Shirva, India."
