Hudson, 35, and Muse frontman Bellamy, 36, announced their engagement in April 2011. The pair has a son, Bingham Hawn Bellamy, who was born in July 2011.

"Kate and Matt have ben separated for some time now," a rep for Hudson told People. "Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents."
Hudson was previously married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, who is the father of her 10-year-old son Ryder. The couple split in November 2006.
