The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco suffered a leg injury that will prevent her from taping an episode scheduled to film Tuesday.

The actress got into an accident involving a horse over the weekend and broke her leg, Cuoco's rep confirmed to TVGuide.com. She is recovering in a Los Angeles hospital, according to TMZ, which first reported the news.

A rep for Warner Bros., which produces the CBS sitcom, confirmed that Cuoco has been written out of the episode taping Tuesday. The show will then go on hiatus for a week. No word on whether Cuoco will be able to return by then.
