Julianne Moore and Robert De Niro will co-star in a new TV drama from director David O. Russell, Deadline reports.

The series is a crime/cop thriller set in the 1990s that is being shopped around to cable networks and streaming services, according to Deadline. Further details about the project, including whether it would be a regular or limited series, are unknown, but Scott Lambert, Alexandra Milchan and Megan Ellison are attached as producers.

Russell is the Academy Award-nominated director of films including Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, Joy and The Fighter. He was previously attached to ABC's straight-to-series project Members Only, which was greenlit in 2014 but ultimately never made it to air.

Moore and De Niro both had memorable guest roles on 30 Rock, and Moore also won an Emmy for portraying Sarah Palin in HBO's Game Change. De Niro is set to star as Bernie Madoff in HBO's upcoming The Wizard of Lies.
