The Teaser For Julia Roberts' Homecoming Is Here

During its Comic-Con panel on Friday, Amazon Studios released the first teaser trailer and key art for the Julia Roberts vehicle Homecoming. The studio also announced that the half-hour thriller, created by Mr. Robot's Sam Esmail, will debut on November 2 on Amazon Prime Video.

Based on the popular Gilmet Media podcast of the same name, Homecoming follows Heidi Bergman (Roberts, in her first major TV role), a caseworker at the secret government facility Homecoming Transitional Support Center, and Walter Cruz (Stephan James), a soldier eager to rejoin civilian life. Bobby Cannavale, Sissy Spacek, and Shea Whigham are also in the cast.

The teaser is light on information and heavy on atmosphere, as the camera searches around the facility before eventually finding Roberts' Heidi about to begin a session.

Homecoming is written by the podcast's creators Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg. Amazon gave the series an initial two season order.
