Joshua Jackson Thinks the World Doesn't Want a Dawson's Creek Revival
"We're not cute anymore"
Do you hear that? That's the sound of thousands of hearts consecutively breaking, because Joshua Jackson has no interest in a Dawson's Creek revival.
Following the success of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and Fuller House, many Dawson's fans are hopeful about seeing Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams and Jackson return to the Creek one day -- including a very optimistic Ellen DeGeneres, who asked Jackson about that possibility during his appearance on her talk show.
At first, Jackson explained a revival was out of the cards because the WB drama killed off Williams' character, Jen Lindley, in the series finale. Not one to be dissuaded from her dreams, DeGeneres proposed a possible solution.

"She could come back as the evil twin or something," the host suggested.
"That's actually a great idea," Jackson said, before he proceeded to grind our dreams into dust. "But the other thing is, it's been a long time, and I think, for anybody who was a fan of Dawson's, to actually see the four of us on camera again might be a little bit shocking and kind of heartbreaking.
"We're not cute kids anymore. I mean, we're holding up OK, but I think if you put the four of us now next to the four of us then, it might be a little shocking."
Well, there you have it folks. Jackson has clearly gone insane or hit his head on a swing, because he thinks the Dawson's Creek cast isn't smokin' attractive.
At least we'll always Purvis.
