Josh Peck Joins the Pitch Roster

Josh Peck will be staying at Fox just a little while longer.

The Grandfathered alum will guest star in an episode of the network's new baseball drama Pitchthis October, TVGuide.com has learned. Peck will play Ross O'Malley, a "neo-geeky" analyst who works for Oscar (Mark Consuelos) and gets called in to help with a "major crisis."

Pitch swings for more than the "woman angle" of baseball

The show stars Under the Dome's Kylie Bunbury as Ginny, the first female to play in the big leagues via the San Diego Padres as a starting pitcher. The drama is headed up by Dan Fogleman and costars Ali Larter and Mark-Paul Gosselaar.

Pitch premieres September 22 at 9/8c on Fox.
