Joni Mitchell is still recovering from an aneurysm she suffered in the spring.

Her friend David Crosby revealed the details of Mitchell's condition and her recent hospitalization with HuffPost Live on Friday.

"To my knowledge, she is not speaking yet. She is home, she is in care, she is recovering," Crosby said. "She took a terrible hit. She had an aneurysm, and nobody found her for a while. And she's going to have to struggle back from it the way you struggle back from a traumatic brain injury."

Mitchell was found unconscious in her home on March 31 and rushed to the hospital. According to a post on the 71-year-old's website, "A full recovery is expected."

Celebs who are out and proud

Crosby also remains optimistic about Mitchell's condition. "She's a tough girl and very smart," he said. "So, how much she's going to come back and when, I don't know, and I'm not going to guess."
