Jonathan Sadowski Dishes on ABC Family's Young & Hungry

ABC Family is serving a helping of their new comedy Young & Hungry this Wednesday, June 25 at 8/7c. Produced by High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale, the sitcom follows Josh Kaminski, a young tech genius with a hefty bank account (Jonathan Sadowski), who comes in contact with food blogger Gabi Diamond — played by Disney Channel star Emily Osment — when looking to hire a new personal chef.

Though it seems like Josh's life is in order, everything falls apart when he hires Gabi to cook for him and his girlfriend Caroline (Mallory Jansen) the night he proposes, and Caroline says no.

"He comes off as someone who has everything together and everything's figured out and you start to realize he doesn't," Sadowski says. "It's cool to watch this guy behind the scenes and realize, 'Oh, he's just like us.'"

Sadowski also reveals that later in the season Josh will encounter a tech rival named Cooper, played by guest star Jesse McCartney. But Josh doesn't just have his business to worry about — he's also caught in a love triangle with his girlfriend and Gabi!

"Josh loves his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's been in his life for forever," Sadowski says. "He thinks she's the perfect girl. And then out of nowhere he's completely blindsided by this klutzy, bubbly new girl [Gabi]. It's pretty much an odd couple romance. You have two people who would never expect to be together, but somehow when they're together it's just right. So, Josh has got a lot to think about."
