Jon Stewart Taking Leave of Absence from Daily Show This Summer

Jon Stewart is going off the air — temporarily, that is. Stewart will take a 12-week hiatus from The Daily Show this summer, TVGuide.com has confirmed. For eight of the 12 weeks, the program will air new episodes with correspondent John Oliver in Stewart's place. Check out 15 canceled shows we want to bring back Stewart is directing his first film, Rosewater, which he also wrote, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It's an adaptation of BBC journalist Maziar Bahari's 2011 memoir And Then They Came For Me: A Family's Story of Love, Captivity and Survival.
