Jon Gosselin Speaks Out After Firing Gun at Photographer

Jon Gosselin fired a "warning shot" at a photographer outside the former reality star's cabin, TMZ reports.

When a paparazza followed Gosselin home from his new job waiting tables in Beckersville, Penn., and began photographing him, Gosselin pulled a gun out of his pants and yelled at her for trespassing. Gosselin then fired a warning shot at the woman and chased her away in his car until the photographer reached the main road.

Gosselin told the website that he has no regrets about firing his weapon because the photographer was the one who broke the law by trespassing. "I am licensed to carry a concealed handgun, which I withdrew and used to fire a warning shot AWAY from the paparazza," Gosselin said. "It is well within my rights under Pennsylvania law when someone is trespassing on private property."

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star told Us Weekly he's considering pressing charges against the photographer. "At this time I have not made a decision on whether I will press trespassing charges against the paparazza, however, I do encourage her and other would-be paparazzi to contact local Pennsylvania law enforcement so they are informed about the a landowner's legal rights to protect their families, their property, and themselves against trespassers."

According to TMZ, the photographer did contact the police but not to learn her rights. Though she didn't file a complaint against Gosselin to avoid trespassing charges, the photographer did ask the cops to note Gosselin fired his weapon.
