Parks and Recreation heads to Washington, D.C.; lands Senator cameos

"He doesn't find [Leslie] interesting or charming at all, and doesn't care about her bright-eyed, bushy-tailed attitude toward making the town better," showrunner Mike Schur tells TV Line. "He just doesn't like her."

Glaser's character will be introduced in the third episode and will recur throughout the season.

Parks and Recreation premieres on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 9:30/8:30c.
