John Noble To Guest Star in Forever Season Finale

John Noble will appear in the upcoming season finale of Forever, TV Guide can confirm. Entertainment Weekly first reported the casting.

The Fringe and Sleepy Hollow actor will play Aubrey Griffin, the world's foremost expert of antiquities and adventure. Through his numbers book, Griffin is seen by contemporaries as a mythological mix of Indiana Jones and James Bond. Despite his tales of travel and history, few knew that he is confined to a wheelchair, and his life limited to the safe confines of his Central Park West apartment.

Things will change for him when a museum curator turns up dead with a Roman dagger in her possession. Griffin concludes that there is far more to this blade than meets the eye - it's the knife that ended the life of Emperor Julius Caesar.

And then there's the caveat that the dagger contains a curse of death to any and all who come into contact with it.

Could it be the same knife that killed Adam (Burn Gorman) in 44 B.C.?

Forever's season finale airs Tuesday, May 5 at 10/9c on ABC.
