John Mayer debuted a dramatic new look on Saturday.

After reportedly breaking things off with Katy Perry, the singer also said goodbye to his long locks. Mayer, 34, showed his haircut at a party for Mindy Kaling's new show, The Mindy Project.

Mayer originally grew out his hair during his two-year hiatus from music. He released a new album, Born and Raised, in May.
