Joe Biden and Olivia Benson? Now that's a team that would have our vote! The Vice President will guest-star in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU.
Biden's appearance will focus on the backlog of untested rape kits and promote efforts to end violence against women, The Huffington Postreports.
Biden, who wrote the Violence Against Women Act in 1994, has teamed up with SVU star Mariska Hargitay before. In 2014, the duo collaborated on a PSA about sexual assault. Earlier this year, Hargitay's Joyful Heart Foundation gave Biden an award (named after his grandfather) for his work to end domestic violence. The actress also narrated the video which introduced the VP at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday.
And this won't be Biden's first time trying his hand at acting. He previously appeared on Parks and Recreationas Leslie Knope's boyfriend himself.
Law & Order: SVU returns Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 9/8c on NBC.
