If there's an afterlife, Joan Rivers is probably joking about why she got snubbed by the Oscars.
The legendary comedienne was left out of Sunday night's "In Memoriam" segment, leaving viewers and celebrities outraged and confused - especially when she essentially originated Oscars red carpet fashion interviews.

In a statement to Buzzfeed, a rep for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences explained, "Joan Rivers is among the many worthy artists and filmmakers we were unfortunately unable to feature in the "In Memoriam" segment of this year's Oscar show. She is, however, included in our "In Memoriam" gallery on Oscar.com."
