Jimmy Fallon Cancels Tonight Show Taping Following Hand Injury

Jimmy Fallon canceled theTonight Show taping scheduled for Friday night after sustaining an injury to his hand.
"He's totally fine but we'll be airing a repeat," the official Twitter account for The Tonight Show shared.
Fallon injured his hand at his apartment Friday morning and had to have minor surgery, a rep for the comedian toldThe Huffington Post."He is expected to make a full recovery," the rep added.
On Friday afternoon, Fallon tweeted a photo of his left hand in a cast and explained what had happened. "Tripped and caught my fall (good thing)! Ring caught on side of table almost ripped my finger off (bad thing)," he tweeted. "I'm doing well and thanks for good wishes everyone."

Friday's taping was scheduled to feature Benicio Del Toro, Taylor Kitsch and Penn and Teller as guests. Ticketholders were told they would be able to reschedule for future shows.
