Jessica Simpson Judges Project Runway Finale

Following the start of her new denim line, Jessica Simpson kicked off New York Fashion Week on Thursday as the surprise guest judge for Project Runway's finale runway show.

Simpson wore a sparkling minidress as she joined show judges Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and host Heidi Klum in the front row of the catwalk.

So as not to spoil the revelation of who will be in the finale — since just six episodes of Runway have aired so far — 10 designers showed their collections. The finale airs Thursday, Oct. 28.
