It's been some time since Jennifer Morrison last graced the small screen.

It's been nearly a year since Morrison appeared in the series finale of Once Upon a Time, reprising her role as Emma Swan in a brief cameo that helped close the book on her character's story once and for all. Now, it looks like the actress is ready to return to TV -- but this time she'll be getting back to her medical TV show roots.

Morrison, who portrayed Dr. Allison Cameron on House M.D.for its first six seasons, will once again suit up in some scrubs for CBS' drama pilot Under the Bridge. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the actress will star as Caitlin Lancaster, a surgeon returning to work after her embattled husband is voted out of the medical practice they built with some colleagues.

The show, from executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, will also star David Ajala. The script will be written by Rina Mimoun.
